2023上高地紅葉情報

お盆が過ぎると上高地の気温はぐんと下がり、夏の終わりを感じる様になります。

日中は25度前後で過ごしやすい気温ですが、朝晩は10度近くとかなり冷え込むので散策には薄手の長袖が必須です。

今はまだ秋の装い…というには早いですが、ホテルから見る山々や植物もこれから徐々に変化していきます。

 

9月に入ると寒さはさらに厳しくなり、気温が下がることで山の紅葉は進んでいきます。例年９月の下旬から穂高連峰の上部が色づき始め、10月上旬に山の中腹から梓川沿いの一部の紅葉が始まります。

そして10月中旬から下旬にはカラマツが色付く『黄葉』が見頃になり、上高地を代表する風物詩を楽しみに毎年多くのお客様がいらっしゃいます。

これからの気温の推移や降雨量、日照によって、時期や色づきで紅葉は変わってきます。

【2023 Kamikochi Autumn Leaves Information (1) 】 Fall is almost here!

 

After Obon, the temperature in Kamikochi will drop considerably, and it feels like the end of summer.

Temperatures are comfortable around 25 degrees during the day, but the morning and evening are pretty chilly at around 10 degrees.  Therefore, you would need light long sleeves for strolling.

It’s too early to say it’s autumn… but the mountains and plants you see from the hotel will gradually change colors.

 

In September, the cold becomes even more severe, and the colder temperatures accelerate the foliage in the mountains. The upper part of the Hotaka mountain range usually begins to change color in late September, and the leaves along the Azusa River begin to turn in early October.

Then, from the middle to the end of October, the yellow leaves, which are colored with larch, are at their best, and many visitors come to enjoy the signature Kamikochi tradition every year.

 

The color of the leaves will change depending on the time of year, temperature, rainfall and sunshine.
