今年も夏休みシーズンがやってまいりました！
8月に入り上高地は天候も落ち着き、比較的穏やかな晴天が続いております。
朝晩は15度前後と少しひんやりとする日もございますが、日中は25度前後と日差しが暑い日々です。そんな中でも穂高連峰から吹く涼しい風がとても心地よいです。

国民の祝日「山の日」
本日8月11日(日)は、国民の祝日「山の日」です。
「山に親しむ機会を得て、山の恩恵に感謝する日」として、2016年にこの国のカレンダーに初めて「山の日」が制定されました。
それから早いもので、今年で8年目を迎えます。
上高地では、山の日を楽しむイベント「四方山（よもやま）祭り」が開催されました。
田代橋から河童橋周辺ではクイズラリーが開催され、清々しい上高地の空気を感じながら、それぞれ設置されたクイズポイントを皆様楽しそうに回っておられました。

Kamikochi in the Midst of Peak Season
Summer vacation season has arrived again!
As we enter August, the weather in Kamikochi has stabilized, with relatively calm and sunny days.
While mornings and evenings can be slightly chilly, with temperatures around 15 degrees Celsius, daytime temperatures hover around 25 degrees Celsius, making for warm, sunny days.
Despite the warmth, the cool breeze from the Hotaka mountain range is very pleasant.

National Holiday “Mountain Day”
Today, August 11th (Sunday), is a national holiday in Japan known as “Mountain Day.”
Established in 2016, “Mountain Day” was added to the national calendar to provide an opportunity to appreciate the mountains and be grateful for their blessings.
This year marks the 8th anniversary of this holiday.
In Kamikochi, the “Yomoyama Festival” was held to enjoy Mountain Day.
A quiz rally took place from Tashiro Bridge to the Kappa Bridge area, where participants happily visited each quiz point while enjoying the refreshing air of Kamikochi.
August Availability
While many dates in August are fully booked, reservation statuses change daily, and last-minute vacancies may become available. Currently, there are a few available rooms in the latter half of August! Please take this opportunity to make a reservation.
If there are no available rooms on your preferred dates, you can register for the “Waitlist” on our reservation page by selecting your desired dates.
