お盆も終わり、上高地では秋の訪れを感じるようになって参りました。
日中は25度前後と過ごしやすい日々ですが、朝晩は10度前後と肌寒さを感じます。
お盆も過ぎ、上高地の季節はぐっと秋に近づいたように感じます。

秋の上高地　魅力①

そんな秋を感じる9月は、星空観測に最適の季節です！
秋が深まる上高地の9月は、比較的空気が乾燥しているため夜になると空には天の川が見られることもございます。

ぜひ、暖かい恰好で夜の上高地で空を見上げてみてはいかがでしょうか。
お天気がいいと息を飲むほど美しい「満点の星空」が見られるかもしれません！

秋の上高地　魅力②

夜は空に目を奪われますが、そんな上高地の日中には可愛らしいお花が多くみられます。

ヤチトリカブト（ 谷地鳥兜 ）

色鮮やかな紫色が美しい見た目ですが、実は毒をもっていることで有名なお花です。
上高地では、五千尺ホテル上高地のすぐ隣を流れる「清水川」付近で多くご覧いただけます。
当館より徒歩5分程ですので、ぜひご滞在の際には足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。

ノコンギク（ 野紺菊 ）

上高地の秋を代表するお花であるノコンギクは、野に咲く紺色の菊です。
上高地全域で見られますので、ぜひご散策の際には足元を注意して探してみてはいかがでしょうか。

その他にも美しく可愛らしい多くの植物が、秋になると見頃を迎えます。

上高地紅葉情報

また、上高地の秋を代表する景色といえば、カラマツが黄色く色づく「黄葉」。

例年ですと、9月下旬頃から穂高連峰上部から色づき始め、河童橋周辺では10月下旬から11月初旬にかけて見頃を迎えます。

本年もこのままいけば例年通り見頃を迎えそうです！

Autumn is coming soon to Kamikochi!

The summer holidays are over, and we can start to feel the coolness of autumn in Kamikochi.
During the day, it’s around 25 degrees Celsius, making it very comfortable. However, in the mornings and evenings, it gets chilly with temperatures around 10 degrees Celsius. After the summer holidays, it really feels like autumn is approaching in Kamikochi.

Autumn in Kamikochi: Charm ①

September is the perfect season for stargazing!
In September, the deepening autumn in Kamikochi brings dry air, making it easier to see the Milky Way at night.
Please dress warmly and look up at the sky in Kamikochi at night. If the weather is good, you might see a breathtaking, beautiful “star-filled sky”!

Autumn in Kamikochi: Charm ②

At night, the sky will captivate you, but during the day in Kamikochi, you can see many cute flowers.

Yachi Torikabuto (Buttercup family)

It has a beautiful, vivid purple color, but it is actually famous for being poisonous.
In Kamikochi, you can see many of these flowers near the “Shimizu River,” which flows right next to the Gosenjaku Hotel Kamikochi. It’s about a 5-minute walk from our hotel, so please take a stroll there during your stay.

Nokongiku (Wild Aster)

Nokongiku is a flower that represents the autumn of Kamikochi. This wild blue aster can be seen all over Kamikochi.
So, during your walk, please pay attention to your feet and try to find them.

In addition, there are many other beautiful and cute plants that reach their peak in autumn.

Kamikochi Autumn Leaves Information

Another representative autumn scenery in Kamikochi is the golden leaves of the larch trees known as “Koyo” (yellow leaves).

Typically, the leaves start to turn yellow from late September in the upper areas of the Hotaka Mountain Range, and reach their peak around the Kappa Bridge area from late October to early November.

This year, we expect the leaves to change colors as usual!
