【上高地紅葉情報③】必見！紅葉を満喫するルートをご紹介！
ついに上高地に秋到来！
10月に入り、上高地はすでに秋の訪れを感じる季節になってまいりました！
朝晩の冷え込みが厳しくなってきていますので、上高地へお越しの際は薄手のアウターをお持ちいただくことをおすすめいたします。
現在、上高地から6時間ほど山を登った先にある紅葉の名所「涸沢」の紅葉状況は8分程とのことです。一方、上高地はまだ2～3分程で、これからの色づきのグラデーションをお楽しみいただけます。
前回の記事では上高地のおすすめフォトスポットをご紹介しましたが、今回は上高地のおすすめルートをご紹介します！

【おすすめルート①】小梨平キャンプ場
五千尺ホテル上高地から徒歩5分ほどのところにある「小梨平キャンプ場」。
至る所にカラマツが生えており、見上げると空一面にカラマツの黄葉を楽しめるルートとなっています。ゆっくりと小梨平を巡り、梓川に出ると圧巻の穂高連峰を望むことができます。
小梨平は車いすの方でも通れるルートとなっております。詳しくは「アルプス観光 車いす」でご検索ください。
【おすすめルート②】ウェストン碑～田代湿原～大正池
こちらはウェストン碑付近で霞沢岳を収めた一枚です。
五千尺ホテル上高地から河童橋を渡り、梓川右岸道を下流方面に20分程歩いたところにあります。そこからさらに20分ほど進むと田代湿原があります。
田代湿原では、葦の小麦色、木々の緑、そして穂高連峰の黄葉をお楽しみいただけます。
また、田代湿原には撮影スポットもあるので、ぜひ風景をバックにした記念撮影がおすすめです。ベンチもいくつかございますので、ぜひご散策途中の休憩に立ち寄ってみてはいかがでしょうか。
田代湿原からさらに20分程下流ヘ歩くと、上高地を代表するスポット「大正池」が見えてきます。
風が穏やかな日は、水面に穂高連峰が映し出される絶景をお楽しみいただけます。
大正池での絶景を堪能した後は、穂高連峰を前にして河童橋まで戻るもよし、大正池からバスで上高地バスターミナルまで戻るもよしです。
体力や天候、お時間に応じてぜひ存分にご散策をお楽しみくださいませ。
【おすすめルート③】岳沢湿原～明神池
五千尺ホテル上高地の目の前にある河童橋を渡り、梓川右岸道を上流に15分程歩くと岳沢湿原が見えてきます。岳沢湿原のマイナスイオンを全身に浴びながら、雄々とそびえたつ六百山の姿に圧倒されることでしょう。ここからさらに上流へ45分ほど進むと上高地を代表するスポットの一つである「明神池」が見えてまいります。
穂高神社奥宮例大祭
河童橋から徒歩1時間ほどにございます「明神池」では、例年山の安全を感謝するお祭りが開催されます。
こちら写真は毎年10月8日に明神池で行われる「穂高神社奥宮例大祭」の様子です。龍頭鷁首（りゅうとうげきしゅ）をつけた2隻の御船が雅楽の調べの中、明神池を一周します。
厳かな雰囲気の中執り行われる例大祭は、ぜひ一度はご覧いただきたい上高地の代表的なイベントの一つです！

Autumn Has Finally Arrived in Kamikochi!
As October begins, Kamikochi has already entered the season where we can feel the arrival of autumn. The morning and evening chill is becoming more pronounced, so we recommend bringing a light jacket.
Currently, the famous autumn foliage spot, Karasawa, located about six hours of climbing from Kamikochi, is at 80% bloom. In contrast, Kamikochi is still at about 20-30% bloom, allowing you to enjoy the upcoming gradient of colors.

【Recommended Route 1】Konashidaira Campground
Located just a 5-minute walk from the Gosenjaku Hotel Kamikochi, you’ll find the Konashidaira Campground. Here, you can enjoy the sight of larch trees all around, and by looking up, you can take in the stunning autumn colors of the larch forest. Take your time to explore Konashidaira, and when you reach the Azusa River, you’ll be greeted by the majestic view of the Hotaka Mountain Range.

【Recommended Route 2】Weston Monument – Tashiro Marsh – Taisho Pond
This is a shot taken near the Weston Monument, featuring Kasa Mountain. From Gosenjaku Hotel Kamikochi, cross the Kappa Bridge and walk about 20 minutes downstream along the right bank of the Azusa River. After another 20 minutes, you’ll reach Tashiro Marsh.
At Tashiro Marsh, you can enjoy the golden reeds, green trees, and the autumn colors of the Hotaka Mountain Range. There are several benches available for you to take a break. This area also has great photo spots, so it’s recommended for memorable pictures with the scenery as your backdrop. After another 20 minutes of walking, you’ll arrive at the iconic Taisho Pond.
On calm days, you can see the Hotaka Mountain Range reflected on the pond’s surface, offering breathtaking views. After enjoying the scenery at Taisho Pond, you can return to Kappa Bridge while admiring the Hotaka Mountain Range, or take the bus back to the Kamikochi bus terminal from Taisho Pond. Please choose based on your stamina and schedule.
【Recommended Route 3】Dakesawa Marsh – Myojin Pond
Cross the Kappa Bridge, located right in front of Gosenjaku Hotel Kamikochi, and walk about 15 minutes upstream along the right bank of the Azusa River to reach Dakesawa Marsh. Immerse yourself in the negative ions of Dakesawa Marsh while being awed by the towering Roppyaku Mt. From here, a 45-minute walk along the wooden path will lead you to Myojin Pond.
This photo shows the “Myojin Shrine Okumiya Festival,” which takes place every year on October 8 at Myojin Pond. The festival expresses gratitude for mountain safety, featuring two ceremonial boats adorned with dragon heads that circle the pond while traditional music is played. The solemn atmosphere captivates all who witness it.
