本日8月11日は、国民の祝日「山の日」です。

「山に親しむ機会を得て、山の恩恵に感謝する日」として、2016年にこの国のカレンダーに初めて「山の日」が制定されました。
それから早いもので、今年7年目を迎えます。

上高地では、山の日を楽しむイベント「四方山（よもやま）祭り」が開催されました。
田代橋から河童橋周辺ではクイズラリーが開催され、清々しい上高地の空気を感じながら、それぞれ設置されたクイズポイントを皆様楽しそうに回っておられました。

 

山の日が過ぎれば、すぐお盆休みとなります。
今年の夏は猛暑が続いております。ぜひ、涼を求めて上高地にお越し下さい！

また、お盆を過ぎると上高地の短い夏が終わり、季節は秋へと移り変わります。

Today, August 11, is a national holiday called “Mountain Day: Gaining the opportunity to get close to the mountains and appreciate their blessings.”

It’s already been 7 years since Mountain Day was first established on the national calendar in 2016.
In Kamikochi, the Yomoyama Festival, an event to enjoy a mountain day, was held.
A quiz rally was taken place from Tashirobashi Bridge to Kappabashi Bridge, and everyone enjoyed walking around the quiz points set up in each area, feeling the fresh Kamikochi air.

After the Mountain Day, the Obon holiday is coming.
It’s been extremely hot this summer, so why not come to Kamikochi to cool off?

After Obon, the short summer in Kamikochi will end and the season will be shifting to autumn.
