2023　上高地紅葉情報④

10月に入り気温はぐんと下がり、早朝には凛と澄んだ空気が心地よく感じられるようになりました。
日中でも15℃ほどでダウンジャケットなど冬の防寒着がほしい気温です。

上高地の「紅葉」、「黃葉」はここ1週間でどんどん進んで参りました。
川沿いのような気温の冷え込む場所では、見頃を迎えている木もたくさんあります。
河童橋周辺のカラマツの黃葉は10月後半からピークを迎えることが想定されます。

冠雪した山々とカラマツの黃葉を共に楽しむことができるのは上高地ならでは！

真弓(マユミ)

前回のコナシに続き、赤い実を付ける樹木のご紹介です。

梓川沿いに生えるマユミの木は、葉が茶色がかったオレンジ色に色づきます。
葉の色付きと同時に木にはたくさんの色鮮やかなピンク色の実がなり、より鮮やかに見られるようになります。

ピンク色が美しいマユミの実ですが、じつはピンク色の段階ではなく、その後パカッと割れて真っ赤な種が出てきた時が最盛期となります。

是非散策の際に探してみてはいかがでしょうか。

【2023 Kamikochi Autumn Leaves Information (4) 】

The temperature has dropped significantly since the beginning of October, and the clear air has become pleasant in the early morning.

Even though the temperature is around 15 degrees Celsius during the daytime, you may want to wear down jackets or other winter warm clothing.

Autumn leaves and yellow leaves of Kamikochi have been progressing steadily in the past week.
Many trees are at their best in colder places like along the river.

It is expected that the yellow leaves of the larch trees around Kappabashi bridge will peak in late October.

Only in Kamikochi can you enjoy the snow-capped mountains and yellow leaves of larch together!
Please take this opportunity to visit Kamikochi and enjoy the natural beauty of Kamikochi changing day by day.

 

Mayumi

Following on from the previous episode, this is an introduction to trees that bear red berries.

Mayumi trees that grow along the Azusa River have brownish-orange leaves.
At the same time as the leaves are colored, the tree will have many bright pink berries that will be seen more vividly.
It is a beautiful pink Mayumi berries, but the peak will be when it cracks and comes out bright red berries.

Why not look for it while you are strolling?
